Empowering Children and Marginalized Communities with Sanrakshan Foundation

In 2023, Modulus Housing extended its support to Sanrakshan Foundation, a national-level non-governmental organization based in Bengaluru.

Sanrakshan is committed to the holistic development, care, and protection of underprivileged children from vulnerable backgrounds, including those living on the streets or in traumatic conditions.

The organization provides them with safety, shelter, education, and opportunities for overall well-being.Recognizing the importance of this mission, Modulus Housing contributed ₹7,12,000 to aid Sanrakshan Foundation’s programs, enabling them to expand their efforts in youth skill development, child care, and empowerment of marginalized communities.

Innovating for Hygiene and Women's Empowerment in Odisha

Modulus Housing partnered with Bhubaneswar City Knowledge Innovation Cluster (BCKIC) Foundation to support the development of eco-friendly polymer-based feminine hygiene products. With a grant of ₹6,00,000, Modulus Housing enabled BCKIC to advance the prototype maturation of high-absorbent sanitary pads made from sustainable materials such as wheat gluten (WG) and Pripol.

This initiative is particularly aimed at benefiting tribal blocks in Odisha by:
‍
‍i.Introducing biodegradable and skin-friendly sanitary pads developed with locally sourced materials such as wheat gluten and cotton, promoting sustainability.

‍ii.Creating awareness about menstrual hygiene and sanitation through educational programs targeting women and girls in tribal areas.

‍iii.Supporting women-led self-help groups (SHGs) by deploying this technology for local production, enhancing income opportunities and economic stability.
