As a Design Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of building methods in Modulus by
Create: prototypes, models, and pre-visualizations of design embodiments and methods to guide design processes and decision-making within the team
Research: conduct research to enable and support projects through computational design technologies. Research is integrated to specific projects or facilitates the development of computational design processes used across projects
Implementation: Realise design concepts by using visualisation methods and, further, implement novel computational design processes that generate embodiments (e.g., 3D models, fabrication descriptions, machine interfaces software, scripts)

Specialisations we are looking for :
Functional & Efficient Planning, Sustainability concepts, Building energy performance, Computation Design, Visual Design and 3D VisualisationsKey
Responsibilities:
Architecture & Sustainability
- Knowledge in relevant fields such as architecture, engineering, or building energy performance & Providing strategic low-energy design advice
- Conducting sustainability assessments including simulations and technical report preparation for certification works such as IGBC/LEED
- Experience in simulation tools like Ecotect/eQuest/Revit/Rhino/Ladybug Tools, etc.
- Collaborate with the design and construction teams to develop detailed documentation, including architectural & construction drawings and specifications.
Computational Design
- Create computational models, conduct simulations, and analyse data to develop innovative, sustainable, and efficient building solutions
- This role focuses on generative design, computer simulations and artificial intelligence applications, Geometry optimization and intelligence using Grasshopper and its various plugins.
Visualization and Graphics
- Creating detailed 3D models, rendering and lighting scenes, and creating photo-realistic architectural visualizations
- Creating 3D walk-throughs and fly-throughs, animations wherever needed
- Create marketing assets like branding images, company digital assets, etc.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2-4+ years) in Architecture & Construction or Engineering project implementation. If you are a self-starter, we would love to talk!• Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results, meet deadlines, and handle multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle expectations of multiple stakeholders and communicate effectively• Strong track record of leadership and zeal for social impact.
- Prior experience working with/at a startup is a plus.
